Westside Notes is an email list service provided by the
WSHS PTSA to keep faculty/staff, students, parents and interested community
members up-to-date on topics of concern to the West Seattle High School
Community.

Posting Guidelines
- Information to be posted must be of interest to the West Seattle High
School community. Examples of appropriate topics include:
- Newsworthy items about WSHS, WSHS Faculty/Staff or WSHS Programs
- Requests for Volunteers/Donations in support of a WSHS Academic,
Extra-curricular or Athletic Programs
- Announcements of special WSHS events
- Reminders of important dates/deadlines
- General information of interest to the WSHS Community
- All Postings must be non-commercial in nature

How to Request a Post
- Compose an email message for your posting
- The body of your email message will be your posting
- Treat the first line of your message as a headline--the subject line of
your message will not be included in your posting.
- Be sure to include contact information (phone/email)
- When requesting material donations, be sure to be note any specific
requirements needed (e.g., model number or author/title/edition/ISBN)
- Note any date deadlines that apply

How to Subscribe
Westside Notes is a voluntary subscription service--you can add, remove or
change your email address at any time. Membership in the WSHS PTSA is NOT
required to subscribe--this service is available to anyone interested in keeping
up-to-date on WSHS events. This mailing list will be used for no other purpose,
and will not be made available to any third party.
- Send a blank email to notes-subscribe@wshsptsa.org
- You will receive a confirmation email from the server. Reply to this
email as instructed to confirm your desire to subscribe to the service.
- You will receive a welcome email confirming your subscription status.
This email will also provide information on how to cancel/change your
subscription status.
NOTE: Some email clients flag messages sent from a mailing list server
as 'Suspected Junk Email/Spam'--even when you subscribed to the list. When
this happens, there is usually a means for letting the software know future
messages are not spam and to allow delivery to your inbox. This is
sometimes referred to as a 'White List'.
